Ingredients

A carefully selected blend of premium spices that may include:

Coriander, Red Chilli, Cumin, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Fenugreek, Mustard Seeds, Curry Leaves, Dry Ginger, Asafoetida (Hing), Black Gram (Urad Dal), Bengal Gram (Chana Dal), Salt, and other aromatic spices.

How to Use

  1. Cook toor dal (split pigeon peas) until soft.
  2. Prepare vegetables such as drumsticks, carrots, pumpkin, okra, onions, or tomatoes.
  3. Add tamarind pulp and bring to a boil.
  4. Mix in 1–2 teaspoons of MDH Sambar Masala.
  5. Combine with the cooked dal and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Finish with a tempering of mustard seeds, curry leaves, dried red chilies, and ghee or oil.
