Ingredients

Cooking Instructions

Rajgira Roti

  1. Mix 1 cup of Rajgira flour with warm water and a pinch of salt.
  2. Knead into a soft dough.
  3. Roll gently between parchment paper or with dry flour.
  4. Cook on a hot tawa for 2–3 minutes on each side.
  5. Brush with ghee if desired and serve with curry or yogurt.

Rajgira Halwa

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan.
  2. Roast 1 cup of Rajgira flour over low heat until aromatic.
  3. Gradually add 2 cups of hot water while stirring continuously.
  4. Add sugar or jaggery and cardamom powder.
  5. Cook until thick and garnish with chopped nuts.
