Ingredients

Sugar, coloured wheat vermicelli, dextrose, modified starch, raisins, almonds, pistachios, basil (sabja) seeds, carrageenan (E407), adipic acid (E355), acidity regulator (potassium citrate – E332), flavouring substances, and permitted food colours.

Preparation Instructions

You Will Need

• 1 packet (225g) Ahmed Foods Jelly Falooda Mix
• 1 litre chilled milk

Method

1. Prepare the jelly according to the packet instructions and allow it to set completely.
2. Cook the vermicelli as directed on the package, then drain and allow it to cool.
3. Soak the basil (sabja) seeds in water until they become swollen and translucent.
4. Mix the remaining falooda mixture with 1 litre of chilled milk until smooth.
5. In serving glasses, layer the jelly, cooked vermicelli, soaked basil seeds, and milk mixture.
6. Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes before serving for the best flavour and texture.
