Everest Pav Bhaji Masala 100g is a delicious and aromatic Indian spice blend specially prepared for making authentic Mumbai-style Pav Bhaji at home. This carefully balanced masala combines aromatic spices to give your vegetable bhaji a rich, spicy and irresistible flavour.

Pav Bhaji is a popular Indian street-food dish made with mashed vegetables cooked in a flavourful tomato-based gravy and served with butter-toasted pav (bread rolls). With Everest Pav Bhaji Masala, you can easily recreate the classic taste of Indian street food in your own kitchen.

👩🍳 Cooking Instructions

  1. Boil the vegetables: Boil the potatoes, cauliflower and green peas until soft. Drain and mash them together.

  2. Prepare the base: Heat butter or oil in a large pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until soft and lightly golden.

  3. Add chopped capsicum and cook for 2–3 minutes.

  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.

  5. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, salt and Everest Pav Bhaji Masala. Mix well and cook for 1–2 minutes.

  6. Add the mashed vegetables and mix thoroughly with the masala.

  7. Add water gradually and mash everything together using a potato masher.

  8. Simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bhaji reaches a thick and smooth consistency.

  9. Finish with a little butter and fresh coriander.

  10. Toast the pav with butter on a hot pan and serve alongside the hot bhaji with lemon wedges.

🍋 Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with buttered pav, chopped onions, fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon. You can also add extra butter on top of the bhaji for a richer Mumbai street-food experience.
