Cooking Instructions

Absorption Method

  1. Rinse 1 cup of rice thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Soak for 20–30 minutes for improved texture (optional).
  3. Add 2 cups of water to the rice.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
  5. Let the rice rest for 5 minutes, then fluff gently with a fork before serving.

Open Pot Method

  1. Bring 6–7 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the rinsed rice and cook for 8–10 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain the excess water.
  4. Cover and let the rice rest for 5 minutes before serving.
